After receiving his calling to be of ministerial service, Pastor Walker overcame numerous challenges to stay on the path set for him.  While supporting a family, he attended Wayne Community College, taking a course in English Composition.  After mastering that skill, he was accepted at Ashland Theological Seminary in 1990.  

Through prayer, faith, and action, Pastor Walker earned his Master of Arts (MA) in Christian Education in 1997 and a Master of Divinity (MDIV) in 2001.  Additionally, his membership to the National Honor Society for Hebrew Languages and Culture is attributed to his devotion and dedication to "Love the Lord God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength" (Mark 12:30). Through Grace and Mercy, Pastor Walker continued down his righteous path. 

As Pastor of God's House of Prayer, Pastor Walker continues to make God known to those who believe and those searching.  Walking by his side is his devoted wife of over 50 years, Mrs. Brenda Raynette (Brown) Walker. Raised in Christian discipleship are their children, Ms. Shelly Raynette Walker of Huntsville, AL. and Dr. Warner Walker all (Mrs. Suzanne Walker) of Atlanta, GA., and two granddaughters, Maya and Madisyn Walker.  As the Apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 

Pastor Walker continues down the path set for him before birth, to fight the good fight, to keep the faith, and to finish the race.  – Amen
